Learning to identify these beliefs and proactively challenge them can prevent them from limiting your path in life. Our belief system is shaped by our perceptions of what is right and wrong, or true and false, often influenced by society, religion, and culture. It governs our attitudes and decisions. That’s why it’s important to regularly reflect on and reassess the beliefs that have shaped us—some may no longer serve us or support our growth.

Guided visualizations as a complement to the treatment of an illness.
With my intervention, I aim not only to offer heartfelt support in a moment of vulnerability, but also to convey the power we all have over our own psyche. Through visualizations, relaxation and calm within the nervous system are promoted, which contributes to the management of both psychological and physiological symptoms, including the reduction of stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as lowering blood pressure and alleviating pain. By reducing stress, the immune system is strengthened, positively affecting specific cells such as white blood cells and neutrophils, and increasing the number of NK (natural killer) cells. Relaxation and guided imagery have been shown to improve immune function at the cellular level, suggesting a beneficial effect on the body’s immune defenses.
