What is positive psychology?

According to Martin Seligman the father of positive psychology “Positive psychology is the study of what constitutes the pleasant life, the engaged life, and the meaningful life.” 

  And according to the Positive Psychology Institute  "Positive psychology Is the scientific study of human flourishing, and an applied approach to optimal functioning. It has also been defined as the study of the strengths and virtues that enable individuals, communities, and organizations to thrive.”

My approach to positive psychology

I apply positive psychology concepts and tools intending to switch the focus from what goes wrong to purposely focusing on what goes right to find the motivation to fulfill your potential, the potential you need for self-actualization.
